Ready to play that high note? Violin lessons are the perfect option for the student who wants to join the symphony one day. Learn classical or contemporary violin studying with our seasoned violin instructors at Brava Academy.

Violin lesson plans are formulated specifically to each student to ensure all of our violinists thrive in their private lessons!

Brava Academy offers violin lessons for all ages (5+), all levels, and all genres.

 

Lesson Details:

  • Schedule: Lessons are booked by selecting an ongoing lesson time with our front desk. We offer lessons Monday-Saturday on a weekly basis, excluding select holidays.

  • Class Size: Private lessons are always one on one.

  • Class Length: We offer 30 and 60 minute classes.

  • Fall Semester: September-December

  • Winter Semester: January-June

  • Summer Semester: July-August

  • Levels Offered: Beginner to Advanced

  • Certification (Optional): Royal Conservatory of Music Preparatory – ARCT

  • Mia Grybas has been playing violin since she was 3 years old, starting with the Suzuki method and moved towards the Royal Conservatory of Music during her adolescent years. Mia has more than 15 years of experience teaching violin to students of all ages. She has performed in youth and community orchestras in the Durham region, where she grew up, as well as in the Windsor Community Orchestra while she attended the University of Windsor. She holds a degree in Drama in Education and Community and completed her Bachelor of Education where she continues to combine all of the arts into her work, especially music. Mia teaches in the Greater Essex County Distric School Board and has experience teaching in the Providence Catholic School Board and Kawartha Pine Ridge School Board. She teaches at the elementary levels and continues to encourage creativity and foster artistic expression in all her students. Mia believes that music is a universal language: it transcends words and transforms people.
