West Toronto DEP is a comprehensive Diabetes Education Program that has been in operation since 2002.
West Toronto DEP is a division of LAMP Community Health Centre (CHC) and is in partnership with leading CHC’s to provide timely, safe, and client centered care.
The main goal of the program is to improve the quality of life of clients 18 years and older living with Type 2 Diabetes and those at risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes.
West Toronto DEP is funded by Ontario Health. We are dedicated and committed towards promoting healthy community living with a focus on diabetes self-management strategies.
In 1971, at a public meeting of the Lakeshore Community Council, it was decided that a health and multi-service centre was needed in the community.
In 1973, residents and local agencies came together to work on developing a coordinated community service centre.
The community organizing efforts finally paid off in 1976 when LAMP became a reality with funds provided by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Community and Social Services.

This course introduces students to the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes.
This 16-hours program applies to all employers who are covered by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act who are obligated to provide First Aid training, equipment, facilities and trained personnel in all workplaces.
You will learn, among other things, to provide specific treatments while waiting for the pre-hospital emergency services, to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and to administer adrenaline by auto-injector.
The Laser & IPL Certificate Course is designed to advance your career in Aesthetics, Medical Spa Therapy, or other related health & beauty career.
