Creative Safety Initiatives (CSI) is an ACT based organisation committed to a continuing focus on improving safety standards in the building and construction industry. Through training and industry consultation, CSI hopes to reduce the number and the severity of accidents in the workplace.
This unit describes participants skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this unit can vary between states, territories, and Industry sectors.
By completing this course the participant will gain the knowledge and the skills to:Plan and prepare for operating an elevating work platform. Operate excavator in line with established requirements. Lift, carry and place materials to complete work activity. Select, remove, fit and use attachments
During this one day session, participants will gain the required knowledge and skills for the safe and effective operation of a gantry or overhead crane.? This nationally accredited training consists of both theory and practical sessions
To operate a Forklift, you need a LF High Risk Work Licence. The TLILIC0003 - Licence to operate a forklift truck  course provides the formal training and accredited assessment which will allow you to apply for a Queensland HRW Licence for Forklift Truck - LF.
Forklift operation has been classed as high risk work since 1 September 2010. To undertake this work you need a Licence to Perform High Risk Work.
