Creative Safety Initiatives (CSI) is an ACT based organisation committed to a continuing focus on improving safety standards in the building and construction industry. Through training and industry consultation, CSI hopes to reduce the number and the severity of accidents in the workplace.
This course aims to provide participants hands on practical skills and knowledge in the safe and ef?cient operation of Boom type Elevated Work platforms (above 11mt). These skills are applied through discussion, questioning, role-plays and practical application for the industry speci?c unit.
This unit of competency covers the skills and knowledge required to test the working atmosphere, using electronic test apparatus, to find out if it is safe for the proposed work.
MIWT’s Scissor lift Training Course can be completed separately or as part of our Elevated Work Platform Training Course. This course offers comprehensive hands on training.
This course aims to ensure successful candidates can safely and competently operate a non-slewing crane on site. On completion of the course participants will be able to perform pre-operational checks; set-up and operate the crane competently
