These Training Package Unit is designed to deliver information to designated staff working in industry and the workplace. Our nationally accredited height safety training course is designed for persons who are required to work at height.
Participants will develop skills to select height safety equipment and apply it to specific tasks. Our height safety training course covers how to work in accordance with height safety regulations, Australian Standards and relevant codes of practice.
Participants will have an understanding of risk assessment procedures and permits to work at height. Participants who undertake our height safety training course will also undergo practical instruction in the correct use of height safety equipment.
Assessment criteria
The student’s performance is assessed on satisfactory completion of the required assignments and workshops (in- class assessment activities).
Students support
One-on-one support is available throughout the duration of the course.
Dependant on the level of support required prior organisation will be necessary.
Minimum entry requirements
There are Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) requirements for this training which include:
Language: The ability to clearly communicate with other workers in a Confined Space team both verbally and in writing.
Literacy: The ability to read and interpret an atmospheric monitor and then communicate the conclusions as being safe/ not safe and to determine the required actions. Writing is required to the level of completing required workplace reports/forms.
Numeracy: ability to calculate working times, and exposure times where an exposure stand is applicable.
Specific course requirements
Enclosed shoes and neat casual or work clothing is essential.
The practical session can be viewed as physically challenging, so a certain level of fitness is required
Participants are required to physically enter a confined space on the day of training

We cover a wide range of training for the general public & business alike including First Aid, Fire Warden & Fire Extinguisher.
The Confined Space Awareness course is designed for persons who supervise, design, distribute or work on a site with confined spaces. This course does not provide the skills or qualification to enter or work within a confined space.
To provide participants with the skills and knowledge to undertake activities related to Bridge & Gantry Crane operations as defined by the WHS Regulations 2012.
Site evacuation exercises are required at least once every 12 months to test internal procedures. Fire & Evac Solutions can devise different scenarios specific to your site. An evacuation exercise can involve the whole site or specific fire compartments/areas as requested by the client
