The work safely at heights course is run over 1 day. This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces in the resources and infrastructure industries.
Heights Rescue is designed specifically for those persons who may be required to rescue a worker from a fall or who may be suspended utilising a pre-rigged system. It does not cover the competency required for technical rope rescue.
This unit specifies the outcomes required to operate a self-erecting tower crane for licensing purposes, and covers the operation of a crane where the tower structure and boom/jib elements are not disassembled into component sections, which can be transported between sites as a complete unit
WorkSafe Notice of Assessment is valid for 60 days, you must lodge your NOA via the Worksafe Portal or at Australia Post before the expiration date. Failure to do so will mean you are no longer competent and you will be required to complete the full course again at the full price.
The trainer will assess a student’s competency in this course, both theoretically and practically. The theory assessment consists of multiple choice and short answer questions.
