The purpose of Working at Heights training is to establish threshold criteria of high quality, consistent training for Ontario workers who work at heights. This strengthens workplace safety culture, improves worker knowledge, and help reduce the number of fall-related incidents.

This strengthens workplace safety culture, improves worker knowledge, and helps reduce the number of fall-related incidents, injuries, and fatalities.
The refresher training will update learners on any legislative, regulatory or equipment (technological) changes, which may impact working at heights.
Prerequisites Required:
Chief Prevention Officer learner number is required (located on CPO issued card)
Only learners who have successfully completed a CPO Approved working at heights training program delivered by CPO approved working at heights training provider are eligible to take refresher training and receive a new CPO proof of completion card.
Who would benefit:
Anyone who took a CPO approved Working at Height program 3 or more years ago.
Anyone who works at a height of 3 meters or higher must be trained by a CPO Approved Working at Heights provider.
Regulations and Guidelines:
Working at heights training is valid for three (3) years from the date of successful completion of the original Chief Prevention Officer Approved program. All learners who wish to maintain the validity of their working at heights training past this three-year period need to successfully complete refresher training.
Required:
Photo I.D must be present at the beginning of class. Proper footwear is required, no open-toe shoes or high heeled shoes allowed. If you do not meet these requirements, Mentor can refuse you access to the classroom and you will not receive a refund.
This is a Chief Prevention Officer Approved course. Upon completion, learners will be compliant with the Occupations Health and Safety Act in Ontario with regard to working at heights.

There are two acceptable methods for Respirator Fit Testing according to the CSA Z94. 4-11. Both a Qualitative and Quantitative method require a trained professional to conduct an in person assessment and training on the selection, care and use of designated respirators.

The Lift Truck Operator Training Program consists of a 4-hour classroom training session presented in an interactive format which covers all aspects of lift truck safety and operation.
This course is 5 days for students who wish to operate a basic 0-8 ton mobile crane and is in accordance with Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development (MAESD) (Program P930030) pre-requisite requirements.
