Course Details

Empowering leaders with the right tools and skills to navigate mental health challenges in the workplace has become a critical piece in creating a balanced, thriving organization.

Our specialized workplace mental health training helps to foster psychologically safe work environments and engages participants with practical knowledge, actionable tools, and explores real-world scenarios to create a dynamic, safe, and inclusive environment where lived experience and personal insights compliment essential learning components.

Our interactive mental health training is derived from the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace (CSA Z1003).

Training facilitators are Certified Psychological Health and Safety Advisors (Canadian Mental Health Association) and trained in Mental Health First Aid and Psychological First Aid (Mental Health Commission of Canada).

Course Outline

  • Practical and applied next steps to implement within their workplace
  • The organizational advantages of supporting mental health
  • Resources to assess and address mental health challenges or crises
  • Strategies to help navigate sensitive conversations and communicate effectively
  • Awareness and prevention of stress and burnout
  • Knowledge and practices for maintaining their own mental wellness

Length:

In-person, one day.

Certificate:

Valid for three years. Course content is dynamic and updated regularly.Recertification is recommended every 2-3 years.
