It is a performance class where they learn routines along with working on general dance technique and will both perform and compete with the dances.
Styles can include Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, Cha Cha and Samba.
Some of this team have already competed at the South Island Salsa Competition, NZ Salsa Solos, World Salsa Solos (Brisbane) and World Latin Dance Cup as well as performed at NZ Salsa Congress and many other community Events!

The national dance of Brazil, the rhythm of samba and its name originated from the language and culture of West African slaves.
The Samba originated in Brazil and is the party dance of Rio. It is still danced extensively in Brazil, although the Samba that is danced in the Ballrooms and International competitions around the world is a far cry from the party dance of Brazil.
Over the years the Samba has incorporated elaborate tricks, turns and acrobatic feats into its basic set of figure.
We established the UCan2 Dance Studio in 1993, with a dream and belief that everyone can learn to dance with the right teaching. That's where the dance school's name came from - You Can Too!
Samba dance classes are offered by Supreme Dance Centre. The ballroom Latin samba is danced to music in 2/4 or 4/4 time and is a partner dance.
