HK & S Resources was formed in 1988 in Winnipeg by three nurses to provide cost effective educational courses to rural healthcare providers in Manitoba.Currently we provide Cardiac Rhythm, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider and Renewal Courses.
Our team has trained over 3000 healthcare professionals since inception; including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Emergency Medical Services personal, Physicians, Registered Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Assistants. We are accredited with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
As per their guidelines you will need a current (within the last year) Basic Life support (BLS) Healthcare Providers (HCP) (C) Course to take an ACLS Course.
This two day Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is totally redesigned for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in or out of hospital.
