Act Now is proud to be a training partner with the Canadian Red Cross in Calgary and Southern Alberta. We provide first aid, CPR and safety training in Calgary and surrounding areas. As veteran first aid and CPR trainers, we also train and certify instructors for the Canadian Red Cross.
Our organization started with the idea of providing quality training for the moments that matter most, during an emergency. Our extensive background in adult education and first response results in engaging classes that emphasize hands-on skills and life saving knowledge.
Currently, only the Simulated Fire Safety courses are offered at our training facility. Courses are available as group bookings only and are subject to facility availability. At this time we do not offer courses to individual participants.
Safety Training is a key component in preventing injuries, maximizing efficiency and promoting well-being at work. Â Safety training has a myriad of courses and classes that will enhance the individual and the company as a whole.
The Babysitter course is a basic first aid and caregiving skills training for youth ages 10 and up. Participants will learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to basic emergencies that can arise.
The Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid is a comprehensive two-day course that offers its participants a good range of first aid skills and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training.
Being emergency ready has been for sometime the number one priority for most employers and institutions in Calgary. First Aid Training has become a ‘must have’ skill to have at home, work or play. The consequences of not being trained in first aid in the event of an emergency are immense.
