Algonquin Careers Academy is conveniently located in south central Ottawa at the corner of the Bank Street and Walkley Road. Well serviced by Ottawa Transpo bus services on the main arteries of Bank and on Walkley, we are also located at Walkley Station on the Transitway.

We have plenty of free parking should you be planning to drive to school.

As you should expect, we are close to restaurants, fast food outlets, grocery stores and of course Tim Hortons. 

Algonquin Careers Academy has been providing career training since 1981. Small classes of adults seeking to launch new careers are led by industry professionals who understand and believe in our students’ career choice.

To complement the classroom learning, Algonquin has established excellent working relationships with employers. These relationships enable students to obtain real life experience through non-paid co-op work placements.

Through these co-op placements, students have the opportunity to apply the lessons they have learned in the classroom, gain confidence in their skills, and open doors to future employment.
