Founded in 1907, the Alliance Française de Victoria is a not-for-profit association dedicated to the promotion of the French language and culture. Alliance française de Victoria (AFV) is a Canadian non profit cultural and educational association dedicated to the promotion of the French language and culture. AFV has been active in Victoria for over 100 years. We offer a variety of French language courses adapted to the needs of the learners.
 

 

Origins

The Alliance Française encourages and promotes active, open connections between people in and French language and culture. It provides the means by which people can learn the French language and become engaged in the many different aspects of French culture including art, books, poetry, film, history, gastronomy, contemporary affairs, etc.
