About Us 

• Hey, baking friends! I’m Corianne , the founder of Cookie Couture which is a baking supply shop and decorating studio here in Calgary.
• I stumbled upon decorated cookies in 2016 when tasked with making a class treat for my oldest son who was in preschool at the time. I had no idea going into it about royal icing, consistencies and all of the little tricks and techniques for working with it - it was an eye opening experience to say the least! I made it my mission to perfect it though and started making cookies for any and every reason I could.
• Eventually I was getting asked about orders and events, and found myself with the opportunity for a small business - something I had never planned but felt right. With creativity and a lot of hard work, I was not only able to grow my core cookie business, but also started teaching classes and growing my online presence.
• Early 2019 I decided to take another chance and jump into the retail side of things with a home based online shop. I know first hand what to look for with tools and supplies, and wanted to be able to offer them at the best quality and price for others.
• After three years running my business from home, it was time for a formal space (or shall I say, I was out of space!). In September of 2022, the Cookie Couture storefront opened here in Calgary and continues to grow with the best products and classes.  
• The support and encouragement I’ve received since starting all of this, and making big transitions along the way means so much!
