Dance Barre

This expressive dance style combines the many technical elements of classical ballet with the freedom and fluidity of jazz and contemporary dance. Lyrical is focused on exploring emotion through music and movement and often portrays a story.

Our boys only classes are designed to create a high energy, active and fun atmosphere. These classes will work to increase strength and stamina while dancing to current, age-appropriate music.

All classes have an experienced adult teacher and an assistant. Petite Elite classes celebrate major holidays with in-class parties. During these events parents are invited into the classroom to enjoy a special performance.

This exciting style has dancers wearing special shoes equipped with metal taps. Tap dancers use their feet to create rhythmic sounds and timely beats. Tap is excellent for developing musicality and coordination.

Based on elements of ballet and modern dance, this upbeat dance form incorporates stylized movements with technique. Dancers work on gaining strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, musicality and performance skills through class warm-ups, progressions and combinations.
