In collaboration with Canada’s oil and gas industry, we develop health and safety courses to meet the needs of our evolving industry. Energy Safety Canada works with hundreds of Authorized Training Providers (ATPs) across the country to deliver safety training and services.
In this basic one-day course students will learn lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home.Â
Safety program developers will learn how to develop a hazard management system.
Motor vehicle collisions are the most common cause of death within the oil and gas industry. The most significant factor contributing to vehicle crashes is human error.
Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) will issue apprenticeship and journeyman trade certificates for this course. A formal Energy Safety Canada certificate will not be given for this course.
This course provides supervisors with an overview of their roles and responsibilities in the management of health and safety in the workplace.
