I first heard of Reiki in 1998 when my mother, Nora Squires, began her journey into energy healing. I was skeptical at first, as this was a new form of alternative medicine from Japan that was becoming popular in Newfoundland.
Gradually, though, I began to seek treatments for various ailments such as migraine headaches, fibromyalgia pain, bouts of insomnia and was amazed at the results! I was thrilled to have finally found a treatment that was beneficial to these physical conditions.
It also provided an overall feeling of relaxation and stress relief at the same time.In 2002, I completed my first level Reiki Training course and started up a part-time Reiki Practice a few years later.
The rest, as they say, is history. I have continued upgrading my skills and am now a certified Reiki Master Teacher. For me, reflexology was a natural progression from Reiki because it is also a gentle, non-invasive healing modality that provides positive results for everyone.
I began my reflexology training with Footsteps Reflexology School in the summer of 2017. Once I become a Certified Reflexologist, I incorporated it into my healing practices with fantastic results.
Since then, I have also completed Sally Kay's Reflexology Lymph Drainage course and added it to the list of treatments I offer. I enjoy learning about all things related to Holistic healing and have recently completed training as a Naturopath.
With this new credential, I incorporate the knowledge I have gathered both from my training and client meetings into all my sessions to give everyone a thorough and thoughtful experience.
I look forward to sharing my energy healing consultation with you and helping you on your journey to better holistic health.
Level one is an introduction to Reiki and open to anyone with any level of knowledge.
