After spending ten years teaching in the Bahamas, I came back to Ottawa to take a position as a computer science and mathematics teacher, in 1998. In 2001, I became involved with the Glebe Robotics team, mentoring them for 14 years.
The introductory course introduces the student to the VEX IQ structural pieces and how they are used to build a sturdy robot. Students learn how to use VEX Code block programming language. In the advanced course students learn about the various sensors available to aid the robot in its movements
