The Music Stand music school started with 30 of Mr. Chrapka’s private students and in a few years grew to 400 students. Over the years, more than 4,000 students have taken lessons at The Music Stand.
The Music Stand has two locations and has been in operation for 31 years in Hamilton, Stoney Creek and the surrounding areas. The Music Stand has a proven track record of offering quality music lessons.
Some of our graduates attend College or University to pursue their passion for music. Some College and University graduates even come back to become our teachers.
Others are successfully playing and performing in local bands, and a few have become renowned performers.
Our teachers make it a priority to get to know you on a personal level and to become familiar with your personal musical needs and goals. We do not treat every student the same in terms of what and how we teach
Our voice teachers primarily focus on popular and classical music. If you have always wanted to be a better rock, pop, country, jazz, gospel or opera singer, then we have the right voice teachers for you
Our guitar teachers teach rock, blues, metal, jazz, country, and classical guitar lessons on electric, acoustic, and bass guitars
Our piano teachers teach a variety of styles from classical to popular music. Whether you want to learn Bach or Alicia Keys, our teachers are happy to help you become the pianist you want to be
