The Safe-Tech Loader, Skid Steer, & Backhoe Operator Training program is a two-part program consisting of a comprehensive in-class theory session followed by practical operator training and/or testing.

This course is designed to ensure workers who use skid steer mobile equipment are equipped with the knowledge to safely operate them. The practical component of the course will ensure that a learner completes the required steps to safely operator the equipment.

Sometimes, order pickers are referred to simply as “Cherry pickers”. Order pickers make picking easier, quicker, and more efficient.

Due to the wide variety of certifications and recertifications available in this discipline, this course is not available on a regularly scheduled basis.

This training includes: Classroom content theory on Equipment controls and operation, Regulations & safety, Rollover hazards and the Occupational health & safety act. 

The ARGO Operator Course is a one- or two- day training program, depending on your needs. The training program is delivered by CSC-certified instructors. The curriculum is based on field-tested techniques.

Front End Loader Training is offered by Safety Training Ottawa

ahis course will see your operators meeting those requirements. Under the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Skid-Steer operators are required to be deemed as competent to operate these kinds of lifting equipment.

This half-day instructor led course will focus on safe procedures for working with, on and around tractors.

Our Operation of Skid Steers Training provides participants with a general understanding of the safe operation of skid steers. It covers the Hazards of working with skid steers and provides examples of controls to protect against injury and death.
