This course has been designed to offer a comprehensive review of uses, hazard recognition, safe operating practices, how to understand load charts that affect the stability of the equipment at height.

The course is intended for employees who operate telehandlers in the workplace. This program is designed for operators who have had some experience driving a telehandler without a licence or for those renewing their licence.

Upon successful completion of the E-Learning module the participant must book their 2 hour Instructor Led practical training at one of the OETIO campuses.

This course is designed for new learners on skid steers only. ORCA has Hardhat Training Certified instructors who will guide new skid steer drivers through the theory and practical application of driving a Skid steer.

In this course there are 2 components: a theoretical and  practical portion. Firstly, we will start with the theory, followed by a short test and then the practical. For the practical’s we do require that the participant provide their own telescopic handler.
