This course provides in-depth training for skid steer operators at your location or job site. Students receive theory and practical instruction on the safe operation of skid steers, provincial regulations, accident prevention, safe handling of materials, loads and stability, and safe driving practices.
After training is completed, the employer must ensure that new operators receive ongoing training by a. competent person to workplace specific policies and procedures.
Recertification every three years is recommended; recertification takes approximately 3.5 hours. ? ??Adheres to CAN/CSA-M3471-05(R2015). Students will complete a test on theory and a test on practical skills to attain certification.
