The two day course is much more in depth than many other 8hr Variable Reach Telehandler Training courses, and is designed to create competent workers.
Why is this course important?
Telehandlers / Skid Steers / Forklifts, are commonplace on many construction sites, however untrained workers are at risk when they operate the lifts.
It is easy to operate the lift outside of its parameters. This can lead to a dangerous situation where the lift can tip, or drops its load. Injury, death and property damage are all potentials.

Introduction to Operation Controls
Equipment Pre Use Inspection
Calculating Loads
Reading Load Charts
Proper Use and Dangerous use of a Telehandler

Inspection and operation of Forklifts and Telehandlers
Obstacle Course and Practical Test
Upon completion of the training Theory and Practical portion of the course, there will be a knowledge exam. Successful participants will receive certification valid for three years.
This Telehandler and Forklift certification course can be offered at our site, or yours. You must have a minimum of 5 students to book a custom course. Contact our office for dates that this course is running.
