Meet Rozio & Ella
The Institute of Fashion was created in 2006 by the vision of International Fashion Designer Rozio Sanchez.
Rozio, an established designer for more than 30 years is a graduate of F.I.T. NY, NY School of Design; University of Miami, School of Business; Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, School of Fashion Merchandising; and L’ecole des Beaux Artes, Paris France specializing in French Design.
At the young age of 23, Rozio opened her first international Rozio Couture label, selling to stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and Corte Ingles, Spain. In 1988, she opened the first couture house on Miracle Mile, specializing in custom- designed bridal dresses and evening wear with showrooms in NY, LA, Dallas, and Miami.
Rozio’s daughter, Ella Tello Peña, having grown up in the world of fashion and modeling and sharing this passion for the arts also embarked in the field of Fashion Design. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design from Miami International University of Art and Design, as well as a Theater and Communications major at Pepperdine University, Malibu California.
As a graduation gift, in 2009 Rozio changed her RoZio Couture label to Ella Bella Rozio, to share partnership with her designer daughter Ella. The two make a perfect combination, years of experience combined with fresh new talent. They continue their business in Coral Gables dressing Brides internationally as well as celebrities for Red Carpet affairs.
The two have not forgotten to give back to the community in helping over hundreds of youths fulfill their dreams of becoming young designers at their Award- Winning Institute Of Fashion.
