111357 Occupational Certificate: Supply Chain Manager NQF 6/ Cr 180

Prepares learners for strategic management roles in supply chain operations. It focuses on integration of logistics, procurement and distribution strategies to achieve organizational efficiency and competitiveness.

The qualifying learner will be able to:

• Develop operational plans for the implementation of supply chain strategy across the supply chain.
• Develop execution guidelines for supply chain policies.
• Monitor and evaluate implementation of operational plans.

Supply Chain Management covers a number of disciplines and occupations in the fields of procurement, logistics and sales. In order for any organisation or company to have an efficient and cost effective supply chain require strategic and tactical planning and coordination across the fields of procurement, logistics and sales.

The importance of a progression path in support of continuous professional development within the supply chain, aligned to requirements of international professional bodies in this sector, becomes increasingly important in a global environment.

Target groups identified include learners with an NQF Level 5 qualification or persons who has been working in the supply chain without formal tertiary qualifications wanting to formalise their skills and knowledge.

Entry Requirements:

• NQF Level 4 qualification with Mathematical Literacy and at least 2 years assessed experience.
