BTEC Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Engineering and Electrical is offered by Stoke on Trent College.
This course is suitable for anyone whose work requires a basic understanding of the safe use of electricity (i.e. plant operatives, maintenance engineers, caretakers). Although not expected to carry out electrical duties, an understaning of how to work safely with electrical equipment is required.
This industry-recognised electrical installation qualification will provide you with the basic knowledge and craft skills. You will learn, develop and practise in a secure environment the installation of wiring systems together with the relevant theory of electrical installation.
