This course is 90% CAD lab, 42 hours of immersion in AutoCAD and 19 hours developing CAD drawings as a component of other courses within the program.

This course is aimed at those who have a good basic knowledge of autocad software. This course aims for the student to maximize their work by using commands for specific work. Learn how a drawing can interact with a material table, controls and more.
Courses in each level are hands-on and project oriented with a step-by-step approach to learning autocad. Students will practice their autocad skills using exercises that are taken from a variety of industries where autocad is used.
The drafting challenges tackled will involve complex angles, multiple dimensions and a host of interrelated parts. Students will produce section views, mechanical working drawings, and 3D drawings of several different objects, each one demonstrating a thorough understanding of advanced dimensioning
