3D Animation Course

In our 3D animation course you will design and produce a portfolio of the work you have done during your studies at Oakfields College which will enable prospective employers to gauge your abilities and talent.

This diploma in 3D animation provides comprehensive training for the graduate who would like to enter into the professional industry of animation. You will be intensively trained in all aspects of production, from illustration to 3D production – making you highly marketable.

By the time you finish the course, you will have learnt everything there is to know about the industry and will have a thorough understanding of what it takes to be a successful 3D artist.

Qualified learners can be employed in multi-media production, 3D digital design, education, television and video production (including digital special effects) as well as specialist 3D and visual effects production facilities.

Animation is bringing characters to life on screen. Whether animating for children’s TV, video games, or high-end visual effects, the destination is to make the audience believe the character is alive.

This three year Diploma in 3D Animation will equip the graduate with the necessary skills and competencies on the various theoretical, practical and technological aspects of 3D Animation with the main focus on game art and CGI Animation process and production.

The programme is industry linked and will move the student towards working in fields such as interactive media, advertising and marketing, video game design, Animation and visual effects in feature films and television and architectural design.
