Students sign up through the University’s Training Hub, and the course material is found on Canvas. Upon completion, the micro-course is added to a student’s Training Hub transcript. Orientation is required before taking other micro-courses.

Additive manufacturing (AM), also referred to as 3D printing, is a process of creating objects by building them up layer by layer. This course will provide hands-on experience with 3D printers as well as introduce applications of AM in the manufacturing sector.
This course is an introduction to 3D printing. The course will cover important settings for 3d printing such as infill, layer height, materials, speed, etc, as well as going over where to find those things in the slicing software and making adjustments
This class offers introduction to 3D design. Students work on hands-on projects and learn how to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create their designs. They see 3D printers in action and take home their own creations!
This is the introductory course for our computer curriculum and is a pre-requisite for higher level courses. All computer students must take this course or meet with the teacher to prove they have the skills necessary to move to the next level.
