3D Printing is cementing its place in homes and workspaces around the world. Being able to rapidly turn a digital concept into a physical object is proving to be a valuable skill, and a fantastic learning opportunity.

Gear Up teaches students about the entire process, from creating accurate 3D models with Autodesk Fusion360 to fine tuning the printer settings. By the end of the course participants will go from knowing nothing, to designing, printing, and taking home their own creation!
We at Gear Up firmly believe that the value of robotics is far more than just the subject itself. It is the greatest mental gym available to kids today, combining the already valuable fields of mechanical design, electronics and programming to make something new and exciting.
All of our courses have tangible goals, from taking home a robot they built, covered in sensors and filled with their own code, to competing with their peers in international robotics events. Abstract concepts are hard to care about when you can’t visualize their application, so we tackle that head on.
Here, we celebrate mistakes as opportunities to learn instead of something to feel embarrassed about. No one should feel like they need to be an expert, it’s our job to get them there from scratch. Take a look at our courses, and click on them to find out more.
The focus of this module is centred around additive manufacturing. A term some would think is relatively new, however, the basic principle of what we know as additive manufacturing has been around since the dawn of time.
The 3D Printing course will give you the experience of this innovative technology and open up a world of possibilities.
In additive manufacturing, commonly known as 3D printing, material is deposited layer upon layer, therefore adding material to create parts. In traditional manufacturing methods, material is removed more often than not, through means such as milling, machining, carving and drilling.
Advanced 3D Printing Training Course. This is follow-up on our introductory course. This course is 1 day long and is meant to be taken after you have attended our introductory course. The Advanced course is schedules the day after the Introductory course to make it easier to attend both.
Designing for 3D Printing course is offered by 3D Warehouse.
