Kidotronics is an in-school and after-school technology program for students in grades 1-12, of all school boards.
Our programmes are designed to provide students with a hands-on learning experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). We use the best of breed technologies such as the Lego Mindstorms and Arduino education resources.

The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object.
3D printing is any of various processes in which material is joined or solidified under computer control to create a three-dimensional object, with material such as liquid molecules or powder grains being fused together. 3D printing is used in both rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing.
