3D printing is making a physical part from a digital object that you created with CAD software. 3D Printing is a fast way of creating parts from Toys to Automotive Parts by depositing thin layers of plastic from the bottom up until the object is complete.

In this orientation, you will learn how 3D printers work and how to set-up and run the 3D printer. You will learn the basics of 3D printing technologies and ways of using them creatively, and you will become familiar with MakerLabs' resources available for member and drop-in use.
