This six hour program is intended to provide participants with the knowledge required to recognize and assess hazards associated with overhead cranes, hoists and rigging and the appropriate control measures and safe work procedures to control or eliminate hazards.
Our Hoisting and Rigging Training Program is designed to introduce both experienced and inexperienced workers to the principles and practices critical to the safe use of hoisting and rigging equipment and ensure users have the ability to correctly apply safe practices and procedures.
Rigging training is 8 hours in duration and begins with a classroom theory component that is followed by a written exam.
Basic Rigging is an eight-hour interactive course that trains the students on fundamental rigging practices.
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to identify hoisting and rigging equipment, and carry out safe hoisting and rigging during inspection, maintenance, and operation. No Expiry.
