Basic Rigging course includes 3 modules that cover the practices and techniques for safe slinging and rigging of loads. The material in this training course is designed for rigging personnel who work with all types of hoisting equipment.
Participants discuss the hazards associated with overhead cranes, hoists and the rigging of loads. Relevant legislation will be explored along with the practical methods for recognizing and assessing these hazards
This is a 2-day course. Held at the IBEW Local 303 Union Hall - In the training center which is in the rear. You must enter the Training Center from the Back Entrance (you will see signage).
After successful completion of this training course the participant will have sufficient knowledge to safely use/operate rigging and meet Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) requirements and CSA standards regarding rigging operations.Â
