The Abrasive Wheels course covers the serious risks concerned with this type of equipment. Delegates will gain insight into safe and unsafe methods of work, whilst learning about the consequences of accidents related to these tools.
The course highlights the importance of setting up machines correctly and makes delegates aware of best practice for selection, storage and marking of discs. Training also gives delegates an understanding of the long-term health effects of noise, vibration and dust inhalation, whilst specifying the protective equipment required when using abrasive wheels and showing delegates how to use dust suppression equipment.
Assessing Learning Outcomes:
