At UTN Training, we pride ourselves in providing first-class training, every time. We are one of the foremost training companies in the UK for the powered access and health and safety sectors and have close ties with those industries.

Our experienced and fully qualified trainers deliver a wide range of courses from approved bodies such as CITB, IPAF, PASMA & IOSH. Some of the courses delivered include SSSTS, SMSTS, CITB Site Safety Plus, New Road and Street Works and IOSH Managing Safely courses (and more) and provide it in the usual AFI Way – professionally, with a smile.

UTN History

UTN Training was established in 1996 to meet a specific need within the Construction Industry to ensure that Public Utilities Companies and their contractors received adequate training to comply with the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA).

Following on from the success of this specific training, UTN expanded rapidly to meet customers’ needs, with the many and varied requests for general and safety training within other industries, as well as expanding its portfolio of Construction Skills training, such as Plant Operation. More recently, UTN introduced more Management training courses for SMSTS and IOSH.

AFI-Rentals

UTN Training has seen a rapid expansion in the training industry, providing courses such as Working at Height, Abrasive Wheels, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Site Safety, First Aid, Confined Spaces and New Roads & Street Works.

AFI-Rentals aims to be a leading provider of training to businesses and government agencies in the areas of not only construction skills, but of safety and health and personal development.
