DurationLCI´s Academic English Program (AEP) is an intensive program that prepares students to study at a university in the USA. LCI AEP graduates can continue their studies at the undergraduate or graduate level at any university in the United States. The program is also suitable for those individuals seeking simply to learn English in a rigorous manner.

Each part of the AEP focuses on developing the student's effective communication skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing at the level needed for success at an English-speaking university. A cultural component to assist students in their awareness and adaptation to life in the USA is also part of all language programs at LCI.
The AEP has seven levels, from beginner to high intermediate. Academic English students take the same classes as General English students for the core classes of Reading, Grammar and Listening/Speaking, plus an additional intensive AEP Writing class, designed specifically with university preparation in mind.
All students take an English-language assessment to ensure placement in the appropriate level. They then progress through the levels until they are ready to study at a university in the USA.
