There are total of 15 papers in ACCA, to become ACCA students must complete 13 paper. These papers are divided into two levels FUNDAMENTAL LEVEL and PROFESSIONAL LEVEL.
Fundamental level is subdivided into two modules; Knowledge Module and Skill Module. Knowledge Module has a total of three papers F1, F2, F3. The Knowledge module introduces you to the main areas of financial and management accounting.
Skill Module has a total of six papers i.e F4, F5, F6, F7, F8, F9; which cover the main technical areas that the accountants are likely to know
The Professional level is having two modules; Essentials and Options. Both of the modules at Professional level have been set at the same ability level as a Masters degree. This level is built on the technical knowledge you will already acquired from the previous levels.
It will also explore more advanced professional skills, techniques and values. These are required by accountants at a senior level to work in an advisory or consultancy role. Essential Module has a total of three papers : P1, P2 and P3
