Students who have completed 12th from Commerce stream and have passed in five subjects including English and Mathematics, with 65% marks in at least two subjects and over 50% marks in others Students pursuing graduation in Commerce i.e. B. Com, BBA, BMS, etc. BA/B.Sc. graduates from a recognised university (no marks restrictions), through a foundation in Accountancy Students preparing for CPT, IPCC Chartered Accountants should pursue ACCA for added credibility and a global edge
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) institute, formed in1904, is the global professional accounting body offering the “Chartered Certified Accountant” qualification. ACCA is fast growing international accountancy organisation with more than 2,00,000 members and more ta 500,000 students in 180 countries. Syllabus:
ACCA covers aspects of Chartered Accountancy such Accounting, FinancialReporting, Auditing, Taxation, Business Finance, Financial Management, etc.
The ACCA has a total of 13 examinations that a candidate must appear for. The 13 exams are split into 3 levels – Knowledge, Skill and Professional.
The Knowledge Level exams are on-demand computer based exams (CBE) that can be appeared for anytime in the 365 days of the year. The Skill and Professional Level exams are conducted every March, June, September and December.
The Knowledge and Skill Level exams are Computer Based (CBE) whereas the Professional Level exams are paper based. The Professional Level exams should also be conducted in the CBE format by 2021.
