Understanding accidents; Reportable accidents; Conducting the accident investigation; Overview of investigation process; Making certain it doesn’t happen again; An investigation without follow up is a waste of time and damaging to safe work attitudes of all concerned.
Methods:
Experiential learning is employed through a variety of strategies including guides/manuals, Power-Point, videos, group projects (role playing), and handout materials.
Legislated requirements under OH&S will be met. At the conclusion of each course participants will be able to apply the knowledge and skills learned.

During this course we will cover a theory and practical portion. Firstly, the theory will consist of the topics listed below followed by a short test. Secondly, the practical portion of this training will be completed at the participants work site with their equipment.
