Why Take A Combined Accounting And Payroll Administration Program?
Accounting and payroll administration go hand-in-hand. In many companies, accounting and payroll tasks are combined into a single position.
For example, Accounting Technicians are often expected to perform a blend of accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll responsibilities:
maintaining and balancing accounts
maintaining general ledgers
preparing financial statements, statistical and accounting reports
calculating and preparing cheques for payroll
preparing and submitting tax remittance forms
Bottom line:
A combined Accounting and Payroll Administration program teaches software and technical skills in both areas. Graduates have a competitive edge and qualify for more jobs.
