The College of Business offers accounting majors the opportunity to pursue either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, both of which offer graduates versatility and growth potential in their careers.
Our faculty are dedicated to providing students with a well-rounded learning experience by using the latest technology, stressing the importance of integrity and ethical decision making, and engaging students with real-world business scenarios and practical application of knowledge learned in the courses. The Bachelor of Arts in accounting, which requires a 39-hour business core, is for students who want a broad liberal arts foundation with an emphasis in business. The Bachelor of Science degree involves a more intensive 42-hour business core with a stronger mathematics focus.
