With our ACE TESOL Certificate, you can teach English language programs in Canada or abroad. It is recognized by TESL Canada for TESL Canada Professional Certification Standard One.
The ACE TESOL Certificate will provide you with valuable, practical, hands-on experience. This program will prepare you for a career teaching English to adult speakers of other languages abroad or right here in Calgary.
You'll develop and apply teaching techniques through coursework, teaching demonstrations, and a supervised practicum within the ELL Department at Bow Valley College.
The certificate includes classes on campus accompanied by online assignments that you will complete outside of class time.The ACE TESOL Certificate Program is recognized by TESL Canada and can lead to the Standard One certification.

This 60-credit program is comprised of 45 credits of coursework, coupled with two school-based internships totalling 15 credits.

In the Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Ontario Graduate Certificate program, you will learn theory of language acquisition and the foundations for teaching the English language through engaging applied in-class experiences.
