With the ever-evolving world of dance, the popularity of training in acro has grown. When done in the right progression and appropriate time, learning acro skills can help create a more versatile dancer, along with a better understanding of one’s own body and ways to strengthen skills.
Various elements like cartwheels, handstands, and walkovers will be taught during this class. This class will teach correct techniques for acrobatic elements. We will be running three dedicated classes based on ability and age.

There are some children you just can't get to stand on their feet, they are constantly upside down either doing cartwheels or handstands.
Acrobatics is a strength based class where students are put in classes based on level and skill, not age. Students must learn the strength behind the tricks and then master a set number of tricks safely before progressing.
The Acro Arts program is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling.
Classes work on stretching and strengthening the body. Learning how to create tricks in a safe environment, using mats and specialist equipment.
Acrobatic Dance is the spectacular art of tumbling, contortion and balance combined with the excellence of dance. If you are looking to learn impressive tricks, jumps, flips, tumbles and rolls then this is the class for you!
