Acro classes combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context.

Beginners will learn basic tumbling techniques, splits, cartwheels, backbends and more. Each student receives dedicated mat time with our ADA accredited teachers as students progress and develop their skills. Emphasis is on strength and flexibility.
The school, founded in 1957 by Miss Ann Roberts AO, is now in the hands of daughter, Jane and her husband André Reynaud.
The school evolves to reflect the changing world by offering the highest quality training in the most caring and fun filled environment for both the lover of dance and the aspiring professional.

The school is proud to say that many of its past students have pursued a career in the world of dance. To name a few, are Natalie Weir – Expressions Director and choreographer, Kurt Phelan – professional dancer, choreographer and actor, Tim Coleman – Singapore Ballet; Emmanuel Reynaud - Footnote Dance Company; and many of our former students are now professional teachers and examiners of dance.
Acrobatics is a combination of dance and gymnastics elements. You will learn to leap, tumble, flip, roll and all sorts of fun things. If you enjoy trying new things and would like to gain more balance and co-ordination this is the class for you!

Our kids acrobatics classes are an excellent add on to dance or circus classes, working on the core skills your child will need for an agile body that moves with grace. Students will develop excellent gross motor skills and core strength along with impressive flexibility.
Develop your tumbling and acrobatic skills in this class, learning the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. Skills include cartwheels, handsprings, backflips, aerials etc.
