Acro (Acrobatics) dance classes are offered by Studio Dance Australia.
Acro (Acrobatics) is a combination of balance, agility, strength, both fine & gross motor skills. This style is often incorporated in jazz, lyrical and contemporary dance routines, enhancing the performance.
SDA’s Performing Arts Qualifications, Affiliations and Registrations include Acrobatic Dance Association, Australasian Dance Australia, Australian Guild of Music Education, Australian Teachers of Dancing, British Ballet Organisation, Glenn Wood Tap and State Dance Association, we are also a member of Audance NSW and World Dance Alliance Asia Pacific.
SDA holds all the necessary insurances for students and teachers through Danceusrance. SDA’s success is measured by the success of its students and teachers.
Acrobatics at Dance Central follows the Acrobatic Arts Academy syllabus, and we currently offer two levels across a variety of ages.
A skill-based class with gym equipment to build strength and learn flips, tricks and lifts. Students are placed in their appropriate age group and may select as many classes as they like for their weekly timetable.
L.I.K.E. Dance Studio offers acrobatics for children from 3.5 y.o through to teens and adults.
Shemoves latest speciality class "Handstands and Acro" is tailored to suit all skill levels, enhance your pole goals and develop the strength, stability and balance required to accomplish a variety of handstand and acrobatic skills
It combines elements of dance seamlessly with precision elements of acrobatics.
