After successful completion of this training course the participant will have sufficient knowledge to safely use/operate rigging and meet Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) requirements and CSA standards regarding rigging operations. This training will be broken up into the following learning objectives:
Introduction to OH&S Legislation and CSA Standards, Why the need for training, Employer Responsibilities, Operator or Worker Responsibilities.
Introduction to Rigging, Requirements, Regulations, Rigger Qualifications, Calculating Weights
Determining the Weight of the Load

We have also just developed a 40 hr training course based on the Construction Industry Institute (CII) and Construction Owners of Alberta Association (COAA) best practices with multi discipline work packaging for Advanced Work Face Planning.
The course is approximately 7 hours in duration and includes an instructor led presentation, practical exercises, class discussion, DVD/Video presentation, written knowledge test.
This module will provide workers and supervisors with the adequate knowledge required for safe hoisting and rigging.
Located next to our Concord Office, is our Occupational Health and Safety Training Center. We are proud to have achieved recognition from the Chief Prevention Officer, who has certified RMG as an approved training provider.

This Rigging and Slinging (Advanced) course includes 5 modules covering practices and techniques to safely sling and rig loads according to the CSA (Canadian Standards Association) Z150-98 regulation, which is applicable across Canada
