Adobe Audition 101

This training covers all of the essential features of Adobe Audition, i.e. the audio processing of a single file and a multitrack session in order to use Adobe Audition as an audio production tool for audio and sound projects at the image. We will explore sound cleaning, processing frequencies and sound dynamics as well as mixing and recording using software.

At the end of the training, the learner will be able to:

• Record vocal or instrument tracks
• Clean up background noise, extraneous noise, electrical hum, and other noise in an audio file
• Perform frequency, dynamics and effects processing of a file or multitrack session
• Produce the audio session mix using automation and mixing techniques applied to Audition
• Perform quality monitoring using the various tools available
• Work in line with Premier Pro video editing software
