Adobe Flash CS6 (Basic)

After completing this course, students will know how to:

• Identify the capabilities of Flash CS6 and the files it generates, and identify components of the Flash CS6 environment; create a new file from a template and set Stage properties; publish a Flash application as a SWF file and insert it into a Web page.
• Understand the difference between bitmap and vector graphics; create, format, and manipulate drawing objects and shapes, create and modify freeform shapes, and use pattern tools; create and edit vector paths with pencil, pen, and subselection tools.
• Create and work with symbols and import graphics and other assets.
• Use layers to manage content in a Flash application and add frames and keyframes to the Timeline.
• Work with motion tweens, classic tweens, and shape tweens; optimize graphics for animation and faster download speeds; work with nested movie clip animations.
