This course provides an introduction to the functions and capabilities of Adobe InDesign. Students are guided in establishing a professional workflow to design documents for print and digital distribution.
Learn how to manipulate type and image and create multi-page documents through the use of styles, grids, and templates. Gain the skills and confidence to prepare your documents for print and communicate effectively with vendors.
Combine these skills to design and professionally print a short book, gaining real-world experience translating ideas from screen to printed object. Students must have a subscription to Adobe InDesign Creative Cloud (CC). In addition, for in-person sections: Students must bring a laptop to every class meeting.

In ThinkBIG’s two-day, hands-on Advanced Adobe InDesign training class, students will learn advanced tips, tricks, and techniques for publishing with InDesign. This course will expand on the concepts in Intro and will cover best practices and additional features.
Level I begins a thorough exploration of Adobe InDesign aimed at design students, working designers or even 'non-designers' who have used InDesign for creating layouts but want to shore up their knowledge, take their skills to the next level and execute their work more effectively and efficiently.
The Adobe InDesign CC course teaches designing page layouts for both print and Web. The course uses a step-by-step approach to demonstrate the basics of the application and interface and then gradually moves on to more advanced and complex aspects of the software.
Adobe Indesign course is offered by Saint Paul College. The College focuses on advanced technology to enhance curriculum and the learning experience. Classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and there is free Wi-Fi access campus-wide.
