Who Should Attend
You are required to hold an ADR licence if you are carrying goods that are categorised in the Dangerous goods list, above specifies quantities.
Training Methods
A classroom based course with practical elements in First Aid and Fire Awareness, assessed by formal tests.
Initial ADR with classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, & 9 for Packages only - 4 days
Initial ADR with classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, & 9 for Packages AND Tank element - 5 days
Initial ADR with one class for packages and or Tank element - 3 days
Refresher with classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, & 9 for Packages only - 4 days
Driver CPC Approved
YES - Up to 21 Hours per course
Additional Information
COTS are a fully approved SQA Grade 1 ADR centre and can offer online testing for each of the ADR tests. COTS' I.T. suite allows for the exams to be done online giving instant results and meaning the ADR card is received generally in 3 to 4 days instead of around 4 weeks.
