It uses the same high-quality methods and materials as the individual courses to prepare people for the worst situations a lay person may encounter. This training is perfect for occupational first aid providers who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers.
Developed using the same industry-recognized standards and criteria, the 4-6 hour Adult First Aid | Adult CPR AED course certifies successful participants for 2-years to perform rescue breathing, respond to heat or cold emergencies, and bandage a wound using manual pressure or mechanical means as well as other care and comfort.
It is a combined adult CPR, AED, and first aid training program designed specifically for the occupational first aid provider. This extremely flexible program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work.
This program conforms to the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the 2020 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid.
